TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1- Main condition

We rent the space for cultural activities such as theater, dance, yoga classes or company meetings, exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations.

*Birthday parties are accepted under certain conditions. Playing loud or amplified music is not permitted. Due to the proximity to neighbors, we only accept events where the music is quiet and serves as background music rather than intended for the celebration. Please also note that the windows must remain closed throughout the event and the event should end by 1 a.m. at the latest.

 

2 - Order and cleanliness 

The room must be returned to the landlord on time and in a clean condition. The time for cleaning must be included in the booked rental hours. Bottles, food and other larger waste must be disposed of properly by the tenants at their own expense. Any subsequent cleaning and waste disposal fees will be charged additionally. Any subsequent cleaning will be invoiced at an hourly rate of at least CHF 80

 

3 - Conclusion of contract

Rental contracts are legally binding upon receipt of payment and are concluded on site with adults. The number of people specified in the rental agreement may not be exceeded. 

 

4- Commitments   

Under no circumstances may the Part-Time Tenant sublet the Premises or assign the rights granted to them in this Agreement. The part-time renter is responsible for the space during the entire slot. He is responsible for the actions of their teachers and students and ensures that house rules and regulations are followed.

 

5- Usage times   

The start of the rental period is the beginning of the reserved time slot. Between the slots of different part-time tenants, there are 30 minutes breaks for airing out and changing lessons. The part-time tenant undertakes to vacate the rooms no later than 10 minutes after the end of the slot.

 

6- Key  

After the event has ended, the key must be placed back in the key box. The code is confidential. It is forbidden to pass it on to third parties without informing LE NID. For security reasons, the code is changed regularly.

7- Catering 

The use of the kitchen for aperitifs and the like must be agreed with the LE NID. Use of the shared kitchen is at extra cost. 

 

8- Consideration for the neighborhood 

LE NID has a commercial lease that allows music lessons. However, the activity must not cause a nuisance to the neighborhood. Part-time tenants must ensure that the volume is set at a respectful level. A sound level of 80 dB must not be exceeded.  

Musical instruments, microphones and sound amplifiers are not permitted. Any repeated nuisance giving rise to complaints from the co-owner or the neighborhood may lead to the termination of this contract. Any fines due to disturbing the peace must be paid by the part-time tenant. 

 

9- Conditions for cancellation

(part-time rental) 

-If a reservation is canceled up to 2 months before the start of the rental period, a processing fee of 20% will be charged.  

-If you cancel up to 21 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rent will be charged. 

-After 21 days before the start of the rental, the reservation can no longer be canceled (i.e. in the event of a cancellation, 100% of the rental price will be charged). 

 

10-Liability & Insurance

-LE NID assumes no liability for damages incurred by the tenant due to improper use of the premises.

-LE NID assumes no liability for theft of personal items.

 

11- Insurance

The part-time tenant must cover personal injury and property damage with appropriate liability insurance.

 

12- Permits

All approvals and compliance with copyright regulations (e.g. Suisa and Pro Litteris) are the responsibility of the part-time tenant or the organizer.

                                        

13-Other provisions

-The LE NID house rules are considered an integrated part of the rental and usage agreement. 

-If this contract cannot be fulfilled in the event of force majeure, there will be no claim for compensation.

-The landlord can carry out checks regarding compliance with the contract at any time.
